I am reminded once again that college - and life itself - is a self-discovering journey. Until recently I was so sure of what I wanted out of life, but the last quarter has showed me that I’m still largely clueless. Lost in an ocean of uncertainty. It’s exciting, and yet frightening, to not know exactly where I’m going.
Then again, it’s all dependent on a State of Mind.

How ironic and slightly irritating it is that when I want to write a paper about something I have no personal attachment to, it’s a walk in the park. However, answering the simple question: “Why do you want to become a doctor?” in a 500-word personal statement proves to be incredibly difficult. Damn it.
